BREJÉ
The name says it all. The blazing hot teenage entertainer is
talented, handsome, suave and about to twist the socks off the
entertainment world. Over the past few years, Brejé has been
brewing like fine champagne ready to pop. His wholesome, smart,
energetic, funny and electrifying charisma is contagious. He acts,
dances, raps and sings, which makes him a quadruple talent. It is
exciting to watch him perform his magic on stage or in front of the
camera. Brejé is rapidly becoming what's next and popular.
Brejé kicks off the Summer 2009 with a bang - promoting a twelve
(12) week national radio campaign of his new single Glad We Met,
produced by super producer Scott Storch. Scott Storch has produced
major artists such as Beyoncé, Mariah Carey, and Chris Brown to
name a few. Brejé is preparing to release his debut album in
November 2009. It will be released on WPE Music, LLC/Bungalo
Records/Universal. In July 2008, Brejé first buzzed on the music
scene with his track Twist Wit It, which sparked renewed interest
in Chubby Checker's dance, "The Twist”. This hip-hop rendition of
the popular 60's dance is becoming one of the hottest dance songs
to hit the market.
Brejé is no stranger to the entertainment scene. He was just an
elementary school student when he tagged along with his older
sisters’group IQ, who were amongst the Radio Disney Incubator
artists. IQ debuted with their album, Roll Call in 2006 distributed
by Universal/WPE Music, LLC. This allowed Breje to interact and
share stages with such artists as the Jonas Brothers, Ne-Yo,
Ashanti, Omarion, B5, Pretty Ricky, Baby Boy Da Prince, Rich Boy,
2XL and others. This paved the way for Brejé to open up for artists
Fabulous and Soulja Boy. With all the bounce and enthusiasm that
was stimulated by Brejé, it lead to the ultimate booking of Brejé’s
career - a chance to open for the “King Of Pop”, Michael Jackson in
London at the 02 Arena. Unfortunately, this tour was canceled due
to the sudden death of this icon.
After getting a taste of the music biz, Brejé “tapped Tinseltown”
with his acting debut as “Garrett” in the short comedy film called
My Genie about Cali kids who find a bottle on a beach. This
performance caught the attention of super acting agent, Judy
Savage, led to acting training with the famous Diane Hardin, and
resulted in Brejé having meetings with Disney, MTV, Nickelodeon,
Will Smith’s Overbrook Entertainment, Berman & Braun, directors
Tom Lynch, Marty Adelstein and other major industry executives.
Brejé’s grounded foundation comes from family values, morals and
ethics that have been instilled in him at home. He loves reading,
school, music, acting, sports and video games. His favorite sports
are basketball, soccer and swimming. The competitive challenge,
unpredictability, fast pace, and the thought of using a swift
imagination, keeps him striving for success in whatever he desires
to do. He wants to send a message to youth in every corner of the
universe that, “You Can’t Get It, If You Don’t Try”. He feels it is
important to help others, that caring is sharing and giving back
can make a world of difference. Brejé’s motto “Be The Change”
exemplifies leadership qualities. “To lead, it is necessary to
prove yourself and you must show people what makes you.” He
believes hard work, determination and getting your education is
essential if you want to achieve your dreams.
Never forgetting the music of blues and jazz, Brejé gets his
collective influence while listening to music with his Nana. He is
mostly inspired by his parent’s music catalog. The catalog varies
with artists including Michael Jackson, Earth Wind & Fire,
Chris Brown, Bobby Brown, Ludacris, Nelly, LL Cool J, Billy Ray
Cyrus and John Mayer. These blends of musical styles comprise the
chic & versatile content of his music/lyrics.
His great-grand mother once told him, “Never forget the history
of
your ancestors and your grassroots; as you grow into who you are,
who you are will define where you are going.
To know your future, you must know your history.” This sums up life
as a screenplay and we all play an important role.
